Summer Makeup

GoodForLadies - With winter almost gone, we can start shedding some of those dark, depressing colors. No more blacks, dark blues, or any other dark color for anything including clothes, nails, and makeup. Once summer comes along, think of everything as showing its colors, and so should you. Take out anything bright and cheery and wear it, because that’s what it’s all about.
This summer keep your makeup bright and simple. Start by applying a light moisturizer all over your face and neck. Rub gently in circular motions to get the blood flowing to your face. If you need to, apply a concealer under your eyes and to any other problem areas. Finish off with a very light, matte foundation. To do this, wet a makeup sponge and apply sparingloy, as to get a light coverage (depending on your skin of course). For your makeup to stay in place, dab a pressed powder over your face.
During the summer, you want that peachy, rosy glow that only the sun can give you. Try a bronzer in a peach or rosy tone and use a big brush to swipe on your cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. These are areas that the sun first hits, so it will look natural.
For the eyeshadow steer away from dark colors . Instead open your eyes with a light lavender, peach, light green or blue, whatever you choose as long as it suits your skin tone. For a more dramatic effect, you can use two or more colors to blend them in. Use your finger to apply the color to your eyelids, finishing just at the crease. Blend that color in with a lighter color that you will apply sparingly up to the brow bone. Finish off with a coat of black or brown mascara.
Keep your lips light by using a peach gloss. Use a lip liner if you wish; make sure it’s not too pronounced and is just one shade darker than your lip color.
