GoodForLadies - Hollywood power-couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stepped out in NYC yesterday wearing super-similar jeans, tan boots, his-and-hers Wayfarer sunglasses and cozy sweaters. While she opted for a camel cardigan, and he wore a black crew-neck, there was definitely something very matchy-matchy about their ensembles. We secretly love the TomKat/Brangelina look-alike phenomenon, but we can't help but wonder how it applies to real life. Do you think it's cute—or a little bit creepy?

Eyebrow Advice for Future-Princess Kate Middleton

GoodForLadies - Sure, Kate Middleton is gorgeous (oh, and she's marrying a prince!), but she's still a real girl with real girl flaws—just like the rest of us. And we can all use a little beauty advice from time to time.

We recently talked with Hollywood brow guru Eliza Petrescu (she's created some fabulous arches, from J. Lo to Mary J.), and she had a few things to say about Kate's biggest beauty blunder: Her eyebrows. “If I could put my finger on those eyebrows, I would work wonders," said Eliza. "They are so bad. She needs to let them grow out. They need to be in the right place, and the top of the eyebrow needs to be fixed.”

With less than three weeks until the royal wedding, we're curious to see if someone intervenes to whip Kate's brows into shape. Although Eliza hasn't been called, she said she'd drop everything to fly across the pond and help out the future princess. Kate, we'd be happy to put you two in touch!

Anne Hathaway Looks Sexy in Glasses

GoodForLadies - From The Princess Diaries to The Devil Wears Prada, Anne Hathaway has made a career out of going from geeky to glamorous in some of our favorite movies. But in her real life, rather than choosing one look and persona over the other, this girl seems to walk the line incredibly well. She's simultaneously gorgeous and brainy—and isn't that the best combination? So of course she can rock a pair of specs and still look like the stunning super-star that she is. Here are a few tips to get Anne's sexy glasses get-up:

1. Try a cool, intentionally messy hairstyle like a volumized pony or bed-head waves.

2. Don't skimp on your makeup. You can still wear shadow, liner and mascara behind your glasses. Just make sure the shades are neutral so they don't clash with your frames.

3. Wear your glasses with everything—except sweatpants. You want to look sexy, not schlubby. They even work with an embellished cocktail dress like the one Anne’s wearing here.

The Date Hair to Try This Weekend

GoodForLadies - We have a major case of lock lust. Amanda Seyfried sported some seriously sexy waves last night, and we're dying to recreate them. The easiest way to get these retro finger waves? A triple-barrel iron. We tested out this one from Gold n Hotand in 10 minutes, we had finished our entire head, and had achieved Amanda's style. Now we just need some black liner and a bright lip, and our date-night look is complete.

Look Hot This Weekend: Brooklyn Decker's Nude Lips

GoodForLadies - Obviously some of Brooklyn Decker's hottness is impossible to copy—she is a walking fantasy babe, don't you think? But aside from her, um, physical assets, she's also rocking a very sexy, new haircut and gorgeous makeup in this pic. The best part is that it's super easy to copy the look—and wear it out this weekend. The key products are liquid liner and a rosy-nude lipstick (Benefit makes a shade called "Rumer: Rose Quartz" that looks just like this one). Be sure to only line your top lid—you can even go a little thicker than Brooklyn for a night out—and really pile on the lip color. Then, throw on a nude or pink dress to complete the effect.

Hanna Star Saoirse Ronan's Pretty, Grown-Up Makeup

GoodForLadies - Saoirse Ronan, who plays an assassin in the spooky flick Hanna (which comes out tomorrow), isn't a legal adult until next week, but her look is much more sophisticated than her seventeen years. She arrived at last night's premiere with subtle yet knock-out gorgeous makeup. Sure, it's the work of makeup artist Georgie Eisdell, but the young celeb did have some input: "Saoirse loves color so I wanted to incorporate a splash of color in her look," said Georgie. The result was this pretty eye makeup that is actually purple! Georgie used Dior 5-Color Shadow in Mystic Smokys, but to get the look at home try any deep purple shadow and a small angled brush. Then, to pick up more color, wet the brush before dabbing it into the powder—it'll look just like liner.

Leighton Meester Rocks it at the Teen Choice Awards

Leighton Meester is everybody’s favorite Gossip Girl and this year at the Teen Choice Awards she really pulled it off. I absolutely love her look here, it’s very edgy but very feminine at the same time.

Leighton sported a black and white stripped mini dress from Louis Vuitton with a pair of red Brian Atwood heels (I want them!!!). This look works for Leighton since she has an incredible pair of legs and I love the fact that she wore her hair up – it goes very well with the entire ensemble.

I always admired Leighton’s style, especially in Gossip Girl, but then again I’m sure she didn’t dress herself. All in all, I would definitely give Leighton’s look a solid 10 – what do you think?

2009 VMAs Fashion Report

This year the MTV Video Music Awards were anything but boring as Kanye West entertained us with his insane meltdown and Lady Gaga left us all speechless when she wore a very unconventional outfit which made us all raise our eyebrows. Here is your 2009 VMA fashion report.

Katy Perry

Although Katy Perry usually wears some pretty weird outfits, she looked amazing at the VMAs this year in a very sexy metallic dress. I never noticed before but Katy’s got some killer legs!

Lady Gaga

I don’t really know what I can say about Lady Gaga’s outfit other than the fact that I think she might be a little crazy. I know she’s a performer, but keep the insanity on stage…not on the red carpet. A little too much for me.

Beyonce

Beyonce always looks great and this years VMA’s is no exception. Dressed in a tight red minidress and black sky-high heels Beyonce made everyone jealous with her super long legs.

Leighton Meester

Seems like metallics are a big hit this year as our favorite Gossip Girl Leighton Meester sported a very sexy metallic mini with a pair of daring shoes. I think the look overall works really well, but I can see how I’d have trouble pairing up those shoes with anything.

Shakira

Shakira looked great at this year’s VMAs in a black sparkling mini and some very hot thigh-high boots (which I’m still trying to find!!!).

Rachel McAdam’s Plunging Dress: Yey or Nay?

Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite actresses, and I think we all fell in love with her somewhere during Mean Girls and the Notebook, but she recently launched her new movie The Time Traveler’s Wife, and showed up in a plunging neckline dress at the opening. So what do you think of her look, yay or nay?

First off I must say this is a different look for Rachel, who is otherwise pretty conservative and simple. I don’t hate the dress, but I can’t say I love it either. I don’t know if it’s the angle at which this picture was taken or what, but she seems really short to me! With that said, I think her hair looks absolutely gorgeous..very roaring 20s which I think complements the otherwise revealing dress.

I think this would have totally worked for Rachel if a few things woulda have been tweaked on the dress. First, I believe I’m seeing some shoulder pads…which I cannot stand. Second, the dress is the wrong length for Rachel – I think something that sweeped the floor would have suited her better. Overall though, I still think she looks beautiful, just the wrong dress! Rihanna’s New Look: Yay or Nay?

You’ve undoubtedly seen Rihanna’s new look by now…edgy, rock n’ roll, maybe a little crazy? Her look has sure come a long way since we first saw her in Pon de Replay with her long locks and sweet girl personality. So what do you think of Rihanna’s new look? Do you like it or do you think she went too far?

I will honestly tell you that when Rihanna first came out, I had a girl crush on her. I thought she was one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen, and I loved her music too. But, along the years, something happened to change Rihanna from the sweet girl next door, to  the dark, edgy rocker that we know today.

I have to say I liked Rihanna’s ‘Posh’ haircut that she sported earlier this year, but for some reason, she just keeps going shorter and shorter, and I’m not so sure that’s a good look for her. So what do you all think of Rihanna’s new look? Yay or nay? Let me know!

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett always looks stunning so it’s no wonder she looks amazing here in an emerald green dress. And can I say how much I love the hair?

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens looks cute as a button in this chic flowy white dress, especially next to Zac Efron…they just make the cutest couple!

Anna Kendrick

You might remember her from Up in the Air, but she looked stunning last night at the awards in a summery and flirty Zac Posen dress.

Cameron Diaz

Cameron graced the red carpet in a beautiful Diane Von Furstenberg short dress which she pulled off like a pro. Again, don’t you just hate Cameron’s legs?

Paris Hilton

I can’t say I’ve liked Paris’ dress choice in the past, but all animosity aside, I really liked this white feathered dress on her…it was kind of sweet and angelic, don’t you think?

Worst Dressed

Lindsay Lohan

I know Lindsay had to wear pants to cover her ankle Scram bracelet, but a sparkly flared jump suit? I’d have to say this is one of the worst if not the worst dressed person at the MTV Movie Awards.

Christina Aguilera

Apart from the fact that Christina Aguilera looked like Marilyn Manson and Lady Gaga had a child together during her performance, this red carpet look isn’t working either. Didn’t she just have a baby not long ago? Please, Christina, have some respect for yourself…or at least for your baby!

Kristen Stewart

Ok so I get the fact that Kristen is very awkward in person as you might have noticed, but does she have to look awkward too? That Dolce and Gabbana dress just isn’t working for her for some reason..maybe it’s her hair? I don’t know, I know I just don’t like it!

Eva Mendes

So…meh..I really didn’t care for her outfit very much. That dress had no shape to it, and it just looked like she was trying to hide something. Maybe a bun in the oven? Who knows?

Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel looked like she got dressed in the dark. I don’t know if she was trying to look like she knew what she was doing, but it just looked BAD.

Undecided Goes to…Katy Perry

I’m not sure if I love it or hate it, so I’m going to leave this one undecided and let you guys judge for yourselves! I definitely have to give her big props for pulling off a bright blue wig (which actually looked cute on her!).  I do love the nail color though!
